continues... Our vacation

The
idea was to continue with my daily blog each day I was on vacation
even if it was only a photo and a caption but this didn't happen as
finding a internet connection proved to be difficult and using a
tablet to blog even more so. So I gave up and decided to make up for
it at the end of the year.

We
had to cut our vacation road trip back to a week because of illness.
We had been going to visit Toronto in Canada . The long road trip
with all the places to visit on the way would take about 6 days but
that was not to be this year. So for a mini vacation and a calming
period we decided to visit Petit Jean state park in the hills and
mountains of Arkansas .

This is a beautiful area , very peaceful with
hiking trails and a lovely lake and above all a beautiful mountain
lodge which fortunately had a place for us to stay.
