A
Different kind of card
As
most of you have heard the frozen North from Canada descended on our
area and yesterday and today brought us the coldest temperatures we
have had for years. It came in with an icy cold wind and rain and
sleet which turned then to snow. Tonight we can expect more sleet and
freezing fog which will put another layer of ice everywhere.
The
roads and airports are in a mess. I heard on the news they are
stopping any vehicles coming into Texas from Oklahoma on the main
highways because they are incredibly clogged up with all huge trucks
that can't go anywhere.
So I
thought it would be nice to remember that usually we have a mild
Christmas season but obviously not as mild as this card shows which a
friend sent from Florida last year,
Yes
this is a Christmas card.
I
still think I prefer the seasonable cold Christmases we usually have
but maybe not as cold as this!!
