Christmas tree, Oh Christmas tree
I love
seeing all the versions of Christmas trees from the huge ones in
public places to the small individual ones in people's homes. We missed seeing the "Light UP ceremony" in nearby Denton square this year and the carol singing because of the ice storm. The tree are all lovely and bright and say as much about Christmas as all the gifts and
different decorations and food we see at this season.
I especially
like the way people collect different ornaments to hang on the tree
from year to year as a way of remembering.
They
are often on Christmas cards. They all look so different but so
easy to draw or design that even the kids can make a card with a
Christmas tree covered with lights and presents.
I had
so many tree designs to choose from in my old pile of cards it was
difficult to choose.
